Troy Stang, MS PT, Owner

After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Western Washington University, in 1990, Troy went to Washington University School of Medicine. Completing the Physical Therapy program, he graduated in 1993 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.

Troy began developing his physical therapy skills more than 15 years ago. In 1997 he founded Valley Rehab Physical Therapy. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1990. Troy enjoys the study of human anatomy and kinesiology.

While attending Western Washington University Troy was the starting defensive end for the WWU Vikings. He continues to enjoy sports and his favorites include basketball, football, golf and ATV riding. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 2 children.

 

Steve Laszlo, PTA  

Steve has a background in counseling, coaching and physical therapy. He received his B.S. in 1983 and then a M.A. in 1988 from Central Washington University. He took on the role as head counselor at Nooksack Valley Jr. High School and drug educator for both the Jr. and Sr. High Schools. He was also the head coach for the Jr. High girl’s volleyball team.
 
Steve went onto graduate from Whatcom Community College in 1993 with an AA degree in Physical Therapy Assisting. He has worked as a PTA in Skagit Valley Since graduating from WCC.
 
As the owner of Human Performance Institute, he's helped athletes with their aspirations to enter into junior Olympics, college careers and even professional sports teams including the Denver Broncos and the B.C. Steve’s personal interests include snowboarding, mountain biking, art, travel and teaching skill development and preventative measures to children and young adults.
 
 

Shelly, Office Manager

Shelly has been the Office Manager at Valley Rehab Physical Therapy since 2006. She manages Valley Rehab Physical Therapy patient records and handles all insurance correspondence and billing. She is the primary contact for appointment scheduling, accounts receivable and payables.

 Prior to working at Valley Rehab Physical Therapy Shelly worked in real estate and the banking industry.

Her favorite pastimes include spending time with her family, riding horses, traveling and trying new food dishes.
